History will be made on Friday when Cabinteely travel to Treaty United for the first-ever competitive away meeting between the clubs at the Markets Field.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

Cabinteely FC Director of Football Pat Devlin is looking for a change of fortune ahead of the trip to Limerick.
“We are looking forward to the match because you are only as good as your last game. We weren’t very good last week against Bray. So, going to the Markets Field will be a real challenge for us.”
He continued “We have a few players back in the squad. We need to get back to winning ways. This group of players are fantastic. We just haven’t been producing what we are capable of.”

REFEREE/OFFICIALS

Alan Patchell will take charge of the fixture with David Berry and Philip Harrison being the assistants. The fourth official is Kevin O’Sullivan.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

The clubs met for the first-time last May with Cabinteely winning 2-1 at Stradbrook. Kieran Marty Waters gave the home side the lead. That was cancelled out by Sean McSweeney before Vilius Labutis grabbed the winner.
