Why not Brave a Shave for Cabo!

Is it time to have that haircut and support the club?
We’re delighted to launch our new fundraiser and are calling on club members, players, managers, and the wider Cabinteely community to ‘Brave A Shave’ and lose their locks, to raise funds for our club.

Like so many clubs around the country, the current crisis has put considerable financial strain on our club. Normally at this time of year volunteers are busy preparing for our annual Mini World Cup, the club’s flagship community event and biggest fundraiser.

The June event attracts over a thousand young local players and sees an incredible footfall of over 20,000 people over its two weeks. Owing to the COVID-19 crisis and following FAI and public health guidance on any resumption of football, June’s event cannot now take place.

We are determined to ensure our club is fighting fit when football resumes at a hopefully near date in the future and appeal for your support.

By now, due to COVID time, many of you must be due a cut, so do please join in, do it for your club and let us know by emailing us as soon as you can.
