For the third time in four matches since the 2020 season resumed, Cabinteely are on the road.
We travel to Bishopsgate on Monday to face Longford Town in a top of the table SSE Airtricity League First Division fixture.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

Cabo make their first visit to the Midlands since our Play-off success last October.
But with the tie being the club’s second in four days, in a scheduled of three games in eight days – we pay UCD on Friday – the club’s Director of Football Pat Devlin said after Friday’s win over Cobh Ramblers “It’s non-stop. We just must get on with it. Everybody is in the same boat.”

TEAM NEWS

Cabinteely have signed Jack Connolly (ex-Sunderland) and Steven Kinsella (ex-Everton). Both will be added to the first team squad.

REFEREE

Michael Connolly will take charge of the fixture with Alan Sherlock and Ciaran O’Reilly being the assistants. Marc Lynch is fourth official.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

This will be the first meetings of the club since the First Division Play-off’s last October when Cabo won a penalty shoot-out.
The clubs first met in 2017. The 10 league meetings since then have seen both clubs claim four victories with the other two being drawn.
