SSE Airtricity League First Division
Friday October 8, 2021
7.45 p.m.
With three SSE Airtricity League First Division matches remaining this season, and with two of them at Stradbrook, Cabinteely host Cobh on Friday.
MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW
With just three points separating the clubs, Cabinteely’s Director of Football/First Team Manager Pat Devlin is expecting a tough home tie against Ramblers.
“It’s been a tough season. A difficult season in many ways, between injuries, Covid and all sorts of different situations being put in front of us. But we have to get on with it. Cobh are a good side.”
He continued “It’s been unfortunate to have results not go our way in recent weeks, a bit of bad luck here and there. But overall, I can’t fault the effort the lads have put in. All we want now is lady luck to shine on us a bit more. And give us the breaks we fully deserve.”
TEAM NEWS
Winger Keith Dalton is suspended. Record goal-scorer Kieran Marty Waters is out injured.
REFEREE
Rob Dowling will take charge of the fixture with Wayne McDonnell and Ciaran O’Reilly being the assistants. Declan Toland is the fourth official.
