Cabinteely start the second half of the 2020 SSE Airtricity League First Division season (nine of 18 games played to date) when travelling to Drogheda on Monday evening.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

Results over the weekend mean there are just five points separating the top five placed teams in the First Division.
“I’m sure it’s going to be a cracking league from now on in. There’s going to be some interesting games,” said Cabinteely’s Director of Football Pat Devlin.
It is a quick turn-around (it is Cabo’s third match in eight days). It is hard on the players. We mixed it up against Bray. We left some players out. We have to shuffle the pack against Drogheda. Then we are very quickly up against Athlone on Friday. It is not easy. But we have to get on with it.”

Kevin Knight completes the final game of this three-match ban.

REFEREE

Neil Doyle will take charge of the fixture with Wayne McDonnell and Shane O’Brien being the assistants. Mark Moynihan is the fourth official.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

The clubs first met in 2016 and the ten League meetings since then have seen Cabinteely win three times and Drogheda claim four victories.
The teams also faced off in the First Division play-off’s last year.
