After a solid start to the 2021 SSE Airtricity League First Division resumption last weekend in Cork, Cabinteely make the trip out West on Friday to face Galway.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

With two points currently separating the teams, Cabinteely Assistant Manager/First team coach Eddie Gormley is expecting a stern challenge from Galway.

“It was a great win in Cork. The players worked really hard for it. We have had a good week’s training. Hopefully, we can take that into the Galway game.”

He added “It’s going to be a tough game. Galway are a good side. They are full-time outfit. We’re going to have to match their fitness levels like we did last week to get any sort of a positive result.”

TEAM NEWS

Defender Andy O’Brien (knee) and goalkeeper Adam Hayden (hand) are out injured.

REFEREE

Mark Moynihan will take charge of the fixture with Eoin Harte and Jason Moore being the assistants. Marc Lynch is the fourth official.
