With the promotion and play-off race still in the mix, Cabinteely host Longford Town on Friday at Stradbrook in the SSE Airtricity League First Division.
The clubs met last August at Bishopsgate with the visitors claiming all three points in a 3-1 victory.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

With both team’s level on points in joint-third place, separated just by goal difference with three league games remaining, Cabinteely’s Director of Football Pat Devlin said “There is a lot still to play for with several clubs involved. We need to get wins; we need to play well; we need to be organised and disciplined. And we need a little bit of luck.”
He added “That’s all we can ask for. The players were great last week in Cobh. Each game itself will bring more importance. Our focus is on Longford and doing our best to get all three points.”

Cabinteely’s top goal-scorer this season, Shane Barnes, is available after suspension.

REFEREE

Rob Harvey will take charge of the fixture with Wayne McDonnell and Rob Clarke being the assistants. Rob Dowling is fourth official.
