For the first time in over two years, Cabinteely face UCD in the SSE Airtricity League First Division on Friday.The home side have won six and drawn once in our first seven league matches in the 2020 season.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

With one game at a time policy, Cabinteely Director of Football Pat Devlin is looking forward to welcoming UCD to Stradbrook.“It’s a local derby. They are a difficult side to play against. They have a number of particularly good players,” he said.
“So, we know how tough it is going to be. It will be a different atmosphere with the Covid situation.”

TEAM NEWS

Cabinteely have several players with injury concerns. But hope for several of those players to come back in the squad.

REFEREE

Adriano Reale will take charge of the fixture with Philip Harrison and Shane O’Brien being the assistants. Gavin Colfer is the fourth official.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

This will be the 15th league meeting between the club.In total, UCD have won ten times. Cabo have won just twice with the other two being drawn.
