Cabinteely FC v Wexford FC Match Preview

Cabinteely FC Press Release

Team News vs Wexford FC

Ferrycarrig Park

SSE Airtricity League First Division

Friday August 13, 2021

7.45 p.m.

Cabinteely start the first game of series three of the 2021 season with their third visit to Wexford of the campaign.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

After a fine result last week away to Treaty United last week, Cabinteely Director of Football Pat Devlin is looking to pick up as many points as possible in the remaining nine league games.

“27 points are a colossal amount of football to play for. We have a lot of players back from injury. And we had a great performance in Limerick last week.”

He added “Everybody is pulling together. The club is moving in the right direction; there are a lot of things happening behind the scenes. It’s upwards and onwards. That’s all we can do.”

TEAM NEWS

Dan Tobin and Jack O’Reilly return to their panel. But goalkeeper Adam Hayden (hand) and striker Sean McDonald (hamstring) miss out.

REFEREE/OFFICIALS

Daniel Murphy will take charge of the fixture with Rob Clarke and Ciaran Delaney being the assistants. The fourth official is Derek Tomney.
