Annual community feast of football impacted
Dear Members,

We hope that you and your families are safe and well during these difficult times.

We want to update you briefly on Cabinteely FC matters. We are continuing to follow FAI and HSE guidelines and the club and clubhouse remain closed for all activities. We are of course anxious to get going again once circumstances allow but the safety of our players, managers and coaches is of paramount importance.

It is normally at this time of year that we start registration for our annual Mini World Cup. Given the circumstances we have had to postpone this and are working with club sponsors EduFit on an online registration tool. It looks like it will not be possible to host the event during our normal playing dates of early June, so we have set aside provisional dates of the first two weeks in August. We will be in touch again once we have more clarity around dates.

In conjunction with EduFit we are also working on some web-based initiatives to keep players active and engaged. We will have more news on this shortly.

In the meantime, stay safe and we look forward to football recommencing in the near future.
