U8/U9 Festival of Fun

Our 2013s carried out a Mini World Cup from within their three teams.

In blistering heat on Saturday at Kilbogget Park, the players conducted themselves brilliantly across eight matches with some fantastic football and nail-biting penalty shootouts to settle some very tight scoreless draws.

It was a fantastic turnout from players and parents alike to end their U8 season as they know progress into U9s after a short break. Huge credit to the kids who kept giving it their all for every game in very tough conditions.

It was great to see how all the kids have developed over their U8 season which has been very much a stop-start for them with the ongoing situation.

From all involved in the age group, we would like the wish the players and family all the best on a little break and already can’t wait to get back to playing and training and hopefully having a full season of football.
