Cabinteely FC Press Release

Team News vs Galway United

Stradbrook

SSE Airtricity League First Division

Friday April 9, 2021

7.45 p.m.

After a solid start to the 2021 SSE Airtricity League First Division season, Cabinteely welcome Galway United to Stradbrook on Friday.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

Having defeated Wexford FC and Cork City in the first two games, Cabinteely Assistant Manager/First team coach Eddie Gormley is expecting a stern challenge from Galway.
“We’re delighted with the start we’ve had. They were two good wins. It was a difficult game against Cork last week. But the players dug-in and we deservedly got the three points.”
He continued “We’re under no illusion – Galway are a particularly good side. It is going to be a difficult match. All we can do is work hard and see what that brings for us.”

TEAM NEWS

Goalkeeper Peter Quinlan (knee) remains on the side-lines.

REFEREE

Alan Patchell will take charge of the fixture with Jason Moore and Darren Carey being the assistants. Eoghan O’Shea is the fourth official.
